Purging serpents as they’re trying
To crawl into the lions’ golden nest,
Where deathless spirits lie down to rest
With a hasty glimpse I have realized
I’ve crossed the world just to find your soul;
Striking epiphany! Got me paralyzed
For the life I've known made me far too old
Rivers flowed, drowning in the sea
And salty winds burned for some time
Misty sunrises were enough for me
Stars were born and began to shine
Such feelings, not even the gods can see
After all, maybe this is the way it should be
But beyond all things that seemed unfair
I still fell on my knees when I saw you there
Why do I see such unwarranted despise?
(Making me unexpectedly become in denial)
I’d set the skies on fire or would otherwise
Rip my heart out if that’d make you smile
